Uncle Lift Off is a group of three siblings from Hamilton, ON. This band contains Elinor (me), Ian Aisling (brother), and Olivia Brown (sister).

We are three people who love to be creative independently. This was the primary reason for me wanting to produce music with them, was to see what the synthesis of our worlds might actually sound like. We are so different, but all gravitated to experimenting with music on our own. Now that we have a project together, I think we've just started to scratch the surface. But so far I know it's goofy, it's awkward, it's subtle, it's outrageous, it's beautiful, it's fun, and it's very us.

Another reason I started Uncle Lift Off was to have a way to channel my personal interest in audio production, visuals, and performance. So the name also acts as an umbrella for a lot of what I do in my individual practice and solo activities.
